What is Experience International?

Experience International (EI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization based in Everson, Washington. Incorporated in 1988, the organization promotes leadership development and technical and cultural exchange in fields related to agriculture, forestry, fisheries and natural resource management and conservation.

Experience International Programs:

J-1 Trainee/Intern Program

As a US State Department designated J-1 Trainee/Intern Program EI is authorized to provide you with up to 18 months of experience in most any field related to agriculture, forestry, fisheries, or natural resource management & conservation.

This program is open to individuals from abroad.

Short-Term Summer Program

The Short-Term Summer Program provides the opportunity to visit with a Farm Family in Washington State for 4-8 weeks. It is an excellent chance to observe the daily life of a farm, family, and community.

English Language Program

This program provides 4-5 weeks of intensive English Language training at one of Washington State's Community Colleges and can include a family home stay or living in a dorm, house or apartment with American Students.

Work Experience Abroad

Our Outbound Program provides unique opportunities to gain work experience abroad, travel the world, explore new cultures, improve foreign language skills, complete an internship requirement for college/university or enhance one's professional resume. Experience International can provide you with just the program you might be looking for in Latin America, Central or Western Europe, New Zealand or Australia.

Study Tours

Experience International works with schools, groups and professional organizations worldwide to design 7-21 day Study Tours to the United States, Latin America and Central and Western Europe. Our specialty is in fields related to Agriculture, Forestry and Resource Management and Conservation. We also work with Choral Groups interested in traveling and sharing the gift of music internationally.

Host an International Trainee/Intern

For U.S. businesses, farms and hosts, this is an opporunity to work with reliable, qualified, and motivated individuals from around the world. For families in the United States, it is an opportunity to invite an international visitor or family into your home and community & learn about another country and culture.

Volunteer and Working Holiday in Ecuador

Experience International, in coordination with numerous non-profit and development organizations in Ecuador, offers you the chance to explore this spectacular country, practice your Spanish, make a contribution to a local community, and to have fun in a safe and supportive environment.

Outbound Programs for Ecuadorians

Experience International also offers an outbound trainee/intern program for Ecuadorians seeking quality work experience in the USA, Europe, Australia, or New Zealand. This program is open to all qualified Ecuadorian students or professionals in fields related to agriculture, fisheries, and natural resource management.
