Example Trip Summary:

Our tour begins at Blanchard Mountain Farm in Bow, WA. Blanchard Mountain Farm owners will lead a tour of their greenhouses and introduce us to their vegetables, herbs and native plants. Following this tour we’ll start biking with a gentle 45 minute ride through the quaint town of Edison.

After taking a behind-the-scenes tour at Skagit Valley Malting, we will visit Garden Path Fermentation, a hyper-local brewery that specializes in regional ingredients, native yeast, and barrel-aged ales. We’ll have a locally prepared picnic-style lunch here.

After lunch, we’ll hop back on our bikes for a relaxed ride to Hop Skagit, the region’s only commercial hop farm. From there we’ll ride north to Edison along Padilla Bay for a farm to table catered wood-fired pizza dinner at Terramar Brewstillery. Participants will enjoy a tasting flight of Terramar’s signature line of artisan spirits, brewed and distilled entirely from malted barley grown and processed in the Skagit Valley. While waiting for our food, we’ll receive a brewstillery tour and introduction to distillation from the owner. We’ll end our day with a quick ride back to Blanchard Mountain farm.
